Eric Davis Elected President of Pittsburgh East Rotary Club
Eric Davis, a Partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Fried-Davis, LLC was elected President of the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club. He takes office on July 1, 2007 and will lead the organization for a year.
Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.
Members of the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club are part of a diverse group of professional leaders working to address various community and international service needs and to promote peace and understanding throughout the world.
Eric commented that "it is an exciting time to be part of the Pittsburgh East Rotary Club. We just celebrated our 60th Anniversary, continue our tradition of service to the community and have moved our meeting location to the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. As Club President, my goal is to grow membership and expand fundraising effort on behalf of our Foundation.
